Texas Pot of Gold Foundation
Empowering the Next Generation of Texas Leaders
The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls (IORG) cultivates leadership, service, and academic excellence in young women ages 11–20, providing them with mentorship and scholarships to foster a lifelong commitment to bettering their communities.
Roots of Empowerment
The Texas Pot of Gold Foundation was born from a deep-rooted commitment to the young women of Texas. In 2004, our Board of Trustees first gathered in Waco to formalize this legacy, uniting legacy funds like the Victor C. and Martha Marie Whitfield Scholarship, W. Mark Sexson Loan Fund, and the Let’s Be Thankful Fund under a single, powerful mission.
Our history is one of community and sisterhood. We believe that by providing young women with the resources to pursue higher education and leadership training, we create a ripple effect of positive change that extends far beyond the borders of our state. Every scholarship granted is a testament to the belief that every girl holds a unique 'pot of gold'—a wealth of potential waiting to be shared with the world.
